Broken Crayons

​So many people feel Overwhelmed by their circumstances, worn out trying to figure life out, and robbed of their identities by personal negative self-talk that seems to be reinforced by the world around us. They just want help to live life.

Broken Crayons is about helping you find the unforced rhythms of grace to live life as who you were created to be. Walking with you to discover Gods plan for your life as well as facilitating your involvement with ministries that can equip, educate and empower you to grab hold of your life with confidence.

I am a broken crayon! Yep that's what I said, I “am” not "was", I am a broken crayon.  

​

I grew up in a physically and verbally abusive home. If not being beaten physically, my identity and self-worth was being stripped away by verbal abuse.  Overwhelmed and worn out I tried to shoot myself in the head with my father’s loaded gun. When I pulled the trigger nothing happened. (yes, I made sure there was a bullet in the chamber before I fired). Eventually, I was placed in a children’s home where I spent many nights screaming and cursing at God with every obscenity I could think of. Telling Him how much I hated Him.  I felt worthless, unwanted and wanted life to end.

At 16 I finally realized that God Loved me and really had my best interest at heart. Knowing that did not change that I was filled with feelings of unworthiness, lack of identity and value.

 

Sitting at the base of a mountain in Germany at age 23 I finally came to see the Father Heart of God and who He created me to be.  Since that time God has walked with me and spoken into me that I am worthy, I have value and I have purpose.  So do you!

You are a canvas that God wants to paint into a masterpiece. You have a unique purpose and identity that is only yours. You are created to fulfill a destiny that only you can make happen.
